Using a range of custom panel dimensions and the Skin mounting system the architectural goal for the solar facade was to support the vision of a black crystal optimized to catch as much sun as possible to achieve the ZEB-COM mission.
The concealed mounting system of the lightweight ventilated facade and the inclusion of the vision glass integrated solar cells support this vision while adding a bit of fun by showing the technology that is otherwise invisibly integrated in the high efficiency solar facade cladding.
