SolarLab engineered and produced the solar facade
Solarlab.dk custom designed and manufactured the system in all black and high gloss, with light weight and ventilated cladding panels. Hidden mountings and invisible electrical components fully integrate this energy producing facade cladding and compliments the buildings expressive shape.
Norwegian company Solcellespesialisten won the solar enterprise for the project and SolarLab is proud that our custom facade system was chosen for the cladding.
This office building in Norway will produce more energy than it consumes. The Powerhouse definition ZEB-COM requires that is produces more renewable energy than needed for construction, production, transportation of building materials and operation over a life cycle of 60 years.
The building is unique and shaped by its surrounding conditions and to optimize solar energy harvesting.
